About Ana Jose

Ana Jose is a dedicated community leader, accomplished business professional, and passionate advocate for inclusive growth. A proud graduate of Cornerstone University, Ana holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business Administration, equipping her with the knowledge and skills to lead with precision and integrity.

With over a decade of experience as a Mortgage Broker, Ana broke barriers as the first Latina in Michigan to receive a mortgage lending license. She has since continued to serve as a champion for economic development in her role as Director of Business Development & Program Manager at Michigan Women Forward, where she supports entrepreneurs, small businesses, and underrepresented communities in achieving success. As a small business owner herself, Ana understands the importance of streamlined processes and exceptional service key qualities she brings to her candidacy for Kentwood City Clerk.

Ana’s commitment to community extends beyond her professional life. She serves as Co-Coach Chair for C4 Community Collaboration and Climate Change, is a board member of the U.S. Green Building Council of West Michigan, and is the former Treasurer of the Latina Network of West Michigan. Her dedication to civic engagement and her ability to work across diverse communities make her uniquely qualified to serve Kentwood’s growing population.

A devoted wife of 19 years, mother of five, and grandmother of three, Ana takes pride in her family’s tradition of service. Two of her children proudly serve in the National Guard, reflecting the family’s shared commitment to community and country.
